Tarney's Tails is a dog walking and pet care business serving the Lake District in Cumbria. With a loyal local following and a growing reputation, the business had one significant gap which was no website.

Lill had built an excellent social media presence and her regular dog pictures are some of my favorites! However, potential new customers searching for dog walking or pet care services in the area had no way to find Tarney's Tails on Google. Every new client came through word of mouth alone, which is great until you want to grow.

The brief was simple: build a professional, welcoming website that reflects the warmth and care at the heart of the business. And to make sure local dog owners, or those visiting the area, can find it.

  • Contact & Enquiry Form - A simple, friction-free form that makes it easy for new clients to get in touch without picking up the phone.

We set up on-page SEO across every page. This included meta titles and descriptions which target the right local search terms, properly structured headings, optimised image alt text and a clean site architecture that Google can read easily.
Google Search Console was connected and verified on launch day, giving us a clear baseline to track progress from. As the site builds authority over time, we'll have the data to show exactly how visibility is improving.
